Welcome to our Nursery School, thank you for taking the time to look at our website. Rosegrove Nursery School has been part of the Rosegrove Community for over seventy years, many of our families (and staff ! ) have attended the nursery as children and these strong community links also extend further to working in partnership with local schools and other agencies. The Nursery School offers places to children aged from two years of age. Parents can access places through 2,3 and 4 year old entitlement vouchers or can pay for nursery hours. The Nursery also supports the Governments current offer of Childcare Expansion for eligible working parents and carers, 15 hours for 2 year olds and 30 hours for 3/4 year olds. Please see the admission section of the website for further information.
At Rosegrove Nursery we aim to provide an engaging, child centred curriculum where all children can achieve their potential. Our Nursery is an ever changing environment which is developed through fully qualified teachers and teaching assistants planning fun and engaging activities. The majority of our planning is based on children’s interests that enable children to further develop their learning and skills. Both our indoor and outdoor environments are exciting places to learn. There are many different areas to help the children to learn a range of different skills including a Forest School area.
We work in partnership with parents and throughout the year hold many events for parents to attend so that they can discuss their child’s learning, learn more about our curriculum or celebrate their child's successes. We have many ways in which you can communicate your child’s learning at home to help us to better meet your child’s needs.
Our website contains lots of information and examples of our work in school and in addition to this we also have a Facebook page. If you would like any further information, copies of any policies or would like to visit the Nursery at any time please telephone the school office on 01282 436928.
I look forward to meeting you,
Mrs S Jones
